The decoded image is processed through the following functions: - automatic disregarding of impurities on the key (dirt, burrs, dents); - automatic compensation for worn out or deformed bitting; - functions to be selected by the user to convert bitting, restore broken teeth, adjust the depth of the two independent bits or of an individual tooth; - automatic identification of mechanical reference features for each key category: single or double bit key, front stop, collar stop, stem diameter before and after the bit, stem axis, contact surfaces; - the image of the key sample can be saved and stored at operators’ choice. With supplementary clamps the machine can be quickly set up to cut a wide range of keys.
